im pretty sure the hoosic valley girls played on tuesday also, just in case your interested they played the Lady Knights of Middleburgh and won quite easily, the final being 84-14.

Hi Tina-Keith here. You are right. It is tough to beat a team three times. When I was playing for Hartford in high school, we had beaten North Warren twice in soccer, and had to play them in the sectional semi-finals. We had just beaten them on a Monday, and had to turn around and play them on Saturday in the playoffs, and they beat us 4-1. We missed a PK early and got our heads down and it snowballed from there. I think a very key factor will be who adapts to the big court at HVCC better, and who reacts mentally better to the pressure of a title game. Of course it is all premature at this point as the teams need to make it there first. I don’t see anyone challenging the Scots in the early rounds. Fort Edward has handled Hartford twice easily, but if Fort Ann brings their A Game they could give Fort Edward a battle. Should be great fun!

I would just like to point out that if it does end up being argyle vs fort Edward in the final that it is very tough to beat a team 3 times in a row. Not that I don’t believe it could happen but it is tough and argyle did prove that 2 years ago against whitehall when they faced for a third time.
