Adirondack SportsNet—Bringing small school athletics the attention they deserve
ADSN, Adirondack SportsNet is a new independently owned website, dedicated to promoting high school athletics in the New York/Vermont border region. Our motto is “Bringing small school athletics the attention they deserve.” ADSN plans to focus our coverage on the schools of Section II Class C, Section II Class D (Adirondack and Wasaren Leagues) and Hudson Falls of the Foothills Council. ADSN will also cover the NYFL (Northeast Youth Football League), as well as local college and semi-pro teams. The founders of Adirondack SportsNet have over 50 years of combined experience in the sports broadcasting, sports writing, and coaching fields. ADSN was started to fill a void in the recognition of the athletic programs of the smaller schools in our area. The ADSN philosophy is that, “The student athletes in the smaller schools in our area work just as hard as the student athletes at the bigger schools (if not harder) and deserve to be recognized for their accomplishments.” ADSN will produce “Live Webcasts” of high school sporting events, featuring the smaller Class C and Class D schools. ADSN also has a goal of becoming affiliated with one of our local colleges to provide coverage for their teams. We will run stories on our web site that talk about the biggest games of the week, and recognize the area’s best small school players with our Players of the Week page. ADSN even plans a weekly video program, reviewing the week in local sports. To find out more about ADSN or to join our winning team call 802-779-2034 or email keithh@adirondacksportsnet.com.
